Terms & Conditions of Business
Orders are accepted by the company on the specific understanding that the
customer accepts these terms of business.
Despatch Orders can be sent by post, overnight delivery or courier upon
request and charged at cost.
Copyright Customers sending subjects for reproduction must take full
responsibility with regard to copyright and must have, or obtain, the necessary
permission in writing.
Claims Any complaint about work carried out must be made in writing within
three days of receipt of goods.
Customers Property Whilst every possible care is taken with customers prints,
samples etc., we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage when
such articles are entrusted to us. Similarly, we take the greatest care in packing
goods but are under no circumstances accountable for damage to, or loss of,
articles leaving our works.
Colour Matching On account of the limitations of digital printing, it is
impossible to guarantee an exact colour match of guide prints, samples etc.
Guides should be provided where possible, however, to ensure close matching;
and proof prints submitted by the Company should always be returned with
re-orders. In the absence of specific instructions, a judgement will be based
on the overall colour balance of the subject. This includes high resolution drum
scanning from originals.
Consequential Loss Responsibility will not be accepted for consequential loss
or damage caused by errors or delay in delivery or from any cause.

Digital File Disclaimer The company accepts no responsibility for corrupted,
damaged or lost data from files submitted on any smart media or digitally
formatted disk or CD’s. The company accepts no responsibility for lost or
missing data from files submitted for any of our digital services sent via email
or FTP.
Quotations All quotations given by Harlequin will be valid for 30 days from the
date of the quotation. If the client’s order differs from the specification on which
the quotation was based, then Harlequin reserves the right to vary the quotation
(including the price).
Force Majeure Every effort will be made to carry out any contract or under
based quotation, but the due performance of it is subject to variation or
cancellation owing to an Act of God, War, Strikes, Lock-outs, Fire or any
other cause beyond our control, or owing to inability to procure materials
or articles except at increased prices due to the foregoing causes.
To cover administration costs, a minimum charge of £10.00 will be made.
Hours of Business Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm.
Weekend or overnight working by prior negotiation and arrangement.
Accounts A 30 day account service is available after the
application form has been approved. Please note that the first
job will still be on a C.O.D. basis. Harlequin reserve the right
to add 5% interest charge compounded monthly to all overdue
accounts.
